Clare & Christian’s Boston Arnold Arboretum Engagement

Christian and Clare’s story began in 2017 at Forrester Research in Cambridge, MA. What started as casual after-work hangouts—fondly dubbed “Big Nights Out” or BNOs—slowly turned into something more. As their friend group bonded over shared laughs and bar outings, Christian and Clare found themselves gravitating toward each other.

Their first official date was at Brick & Mortar in Cambridge in December 2018. Just a few months later, Clare invited Christian to Mardi Gras in New Orleans with her college friends. It was there, on March 1, 2019, that they decided to make it official.

Since then, their relationship has been one big adventure. From sipping wine in the south of France to climbing volcanoes in Italy, Christian and Clare have made the most of every moment. They even earned their PADI scuba certifications and explored the waters of the Florida Keys and Belize. During a two-year chapter in Washington, D.C., while Clare pursued her graduate degree, they adopted their spoiled (and beloved) cat, Zoey.

Then came June 2024—Christian proposed on a beach in Gloucester, with both families secretly watching from a nearby hotel. A perfect surprise to kick off the next chapter.

Capturing their engagement was a joy. Their laughter, love, and shared history made every frame feel full of story and soul. I can’t wait to see where life takes these two next.
