My love for photography began when I was a kid, running around with my very first pink point-and-shoot camera. That little spark grew into something bigger with my first DSLR, as I started capturing my friends, then their families, and eventually stepping in to assist at a wedding. The moment I photographed my first love story, I knew I had found my calling. Today, as a wedding and portrait photographer, I get to preserve the moments that matter most — the laughter, the tears, the quiet in-betweens, and the joy that fills a room. I’m deeply sentimental, and nothing brings me more happiness than knowing the images I create will be cherished for a lifetime, passed down as a piece of someone’s story.

I’m a total foodie at heart — adventurous and always willing to try something new. From jellyfish and escargot to frog legs, sea urchin, and duck liver, if it’s on the menu, there’s a good chance I’ve tasted it! Being Italian, food truly feels like my love language — it’s how I connect, celebrate, and experience the world around me.

Alongside food, travel is one of my greatest joys. As of 2025, I’ve explored 34 states and 14 countries — from the colorful coasts of Italy and Croatia to the islands of Greece and the jungles of Costa Rica. I’ve solo-traveled, taken spontaneous midnight road trips, booked flights to Hawaii just a week before departure, and even sailed across the Atlantic. Some of my favorite adventures include wandering the Amalfi Coast, hiking the Dolomites, exploring Dubrovnik, and soaking in the charm of Charleston, South Carolina. One of my most memorable journeys was driving Route 66 all the way from California to Virginia — an experience I recommend to everyone with a love for adventure.

Weddings are my absolute favorite. I love love! However, its the details from wedding days that are just absolutely amazing! I get to photograph all the little things! From flowers to rings, invitation suites to shoes, wax seals to family heirlooms. Every little detail, all the effort that goes into that tiny little piece of art that sometimes goes unnoticed. That is what I love to capture. The sentimental elements and quietly adored pieces of the day.

I love details

I raise and show Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dogs under my grandfather's kennel name,  Tanglewood. My babies woof, wag their tails, and are covered in fur (so is every inch of my house!) My sweet babies are my whole heart. I have 3 in my house currently, Birch, Fraser, and Douglas. I also have Maple, Aspen, and Willow, who live with family members. Pictured with me is Spruce, my heart dog, who I lost to cancer in 2024.

I am beyond fortunate to have been raised on my grandparents farm. They started our family farm in 1966 and I took it over in 2023. My grandmother had a beautiful garden that we would tend to and she taught me how to bake and  preserve food. My grandfather raised hunting dogs and farm animals. He taught me how to hunt, tend to animals, and drive a tractor. After they passed away, it was my responsibility to bring the farm back to life! I’m very open about my endometriosis & infertility journey because I know so many women quietly face similar struggles. Hearing others’ stories gave me strength when I needed it most, and I hope that by sharing mine, I can be a safe space for support, guidance, or simply someone who understands.

My journey began after a car accident in 2022, when doctors discovered during emergency surgery that I had stage 3 endometriosis. Just a year later, I faced another emergency surgery for a cyst the size of a baby’s head on my ovary. That procedure revealed my endometriosis had progressed to stage 4 and had completely damaged my fallopian tubes, making natural conception impossible. My tubes were removed, and I’ve since gone through three rounds of egg retrievals to preserve my chance of becoming a mom one day through IVF.

This path has challenged me in ways I could never have imagined — physically, emotionally, and mentally. But it has also shown me my own resilience. I am stronger than I ever thought possible, and I carry that strength with me every day.
