Nicole and Kevin were so excited for their 20s themed wedding this year, however 2020 had other plans! Their 20s themed wedding had to be postponed for next year, but their gorgeous back yard wedding might have taken the spotlight!
Nicole and Kevin got married at their local church, right where we had their engagement photos taken about a month before! After their ceremony they were surprised with a horse drawn carriage ride back to the family’s home where they had a gorgeous cocktail hour.. (With hand rolled sushi by Nicole’s father!)
Nicole and Kevin met in high school and they spent their first date watching UP! (One of our favorite Pixar movies EVER!) We love how they incorporated their first date in such cute ways! The groomsmen wore bottle caps for lapel pins and Nicole walked in to the church to a song from the movie.
2020 has shown us that elopements and backyard weddings might be our favorite thing ever! We love that our couples are celebrating their marriage in a small and laid back way before they have their larger celebration at a later date!
We cannot WAIT to celebrate with these love birds and see all of the amazing flapper dresses and bowties at their 20s themed celebration next year! Thank you Nicole and Kevin for letting us capture your big day! We love you both (and that mustache) so much!
