Travis is from Long Island and went to college in Rhode Island. He met Kaycee met playing sports in college and they were great friends before they started dating. Kaycee is from the Providence area of Rhode Island. During their engagement session Kaycee told me how special it was growing up there. She told me how her hometown, childhood friends, and family members meant so much to her and how she loves the connection she has to the area. For their engagement session, we were at their local golf course. She pointed out her childhood home and waved to her friend’s parents as we went by on the golf carts.
We usually do not recommend golf courses for photos as they are VERY green with minimal shade and it tends to cast green tints on our clients skin tones. However because the area is so special to Kaycee and Travis we figured we would make it work! They didn’t care to include too much of a golf theme into their images as neither of them golf, so we got a good laugh about that as we went through the session! We happened to find some beautiful tall grass and shady spots on the course. Riding around from location to location via golf carts were a fun addition as well!
