Alexis and Brian introduced us to Gouveia Vineyards in Wallingford CT for their engagement session. I personally have been to the beautiful wineries that scatter the countryside of Tuscany Italy. Gouveia Vineyards truly brought me right back to Italy! I have not tried their wines yet, however the sights are absolutely worth the visit! The property is set on a hill with a beautiful stone building overlooking a pond settled between the rows of vines. Off the back of the building is a large patio with views of more rows of vines and hills in the distance. The sunsets are amazing. It is a small piece of paradise here in Connecticut!
Speaking of paradise, Brian and Alexis met in paradise… literally! Paradise Pizza is their go to spot for comfort food, hanging with friends or a quick stop at the end of the day. 6 and a 1/2 years together flew by exploring new places together. It was time to make it official and with a trip planned Brian had the perfect proposal thought out. Alexis started her birthday at brunch with friends who were all secretly in on the proposal while Brian was out getting everything ready to decorate the house for Alexis’ birthday. She got back from brunch with their families waiting and 15 minutes later Brian was down on one knee. They got to celebrate with friends and family and then enjoy a week away in St Lucia before the wedding planning started!
Congratulations to these love birds! Alexis & Brian, thank you for including us on this journey! We can’t wait to celebrate your marriage with you two!
