We LOVE overcast days for beach photoshoots, more than our love for sushi (which we LOVE a lot)! The beach is a tough spot to take pictures on sunny days since we need to put our clients backs to the sun so they are not squinting in the photos. However, that may mean the backdrop to their pictures is not the ocean like we were all hoping for. Luckily on slightly overcast days, we can have our client’s backs to the ocean for the picturesque backdrop we all love, and have the sun reflect off the light colored sand to bring light back up on their faces! Ahh the dream!
Well luckily during Adrianna and Devion’s engagement session, it was a light overcast sky! However, it was freezing. Like absolutely bone chilling, FREEZING cold. We even had a mild case of frostbite on our fingers when we got home! (We don’t use gloves so we can quickly adjust settings on our cameras!)
Adrianna and Devion were absolute champs though! We have photographed a lot of people in the cold. (Why do we always take engagement pictures in the freezing cold? We should work on that..) Anyways, these two were the best we have EVER seen in the freezing cold! There wasn’t a single sign of these two wanting to stop to warm up! They just snuggled up and enjoyed their time together. They are so adorable, just look at them! We didn’t even need to pose them half the time, they just were adorable together!
We are so excited to be photographing their wedding on March 1st! You heard that right, we are less than a month away from their big day! They are our first wedding of the season and we couldn’t have picked a better couple to kick off the year with!
Adrianna and Devion, thank you so much for letting us capture your engagement session and for letting us be the ones who capture all your adorable love on your wedding day! We are so excited for you two!
