We met Crystal and Brett at the Mansion at Bald Hill’s Bridal Expo! We were so excited when they sent us an email asking to meet for a double date to discuss their wedding! We quickly bonded over the amazing food at Cafemantic (our go to double date spot!) They told us their sweet love story of how they met waiting in line for food at Mohegan Sun Casino. It was Brett’s birthday and he was with a group of his friends and she was with her sister. Crystal’s sister turned around after Brett had made an attempt to talk to them and said “you are too young for me, but perfect for Crystal!” Before they left the restaurant, Crystal’s sister made her give her number to him, so she wrote her number down on a receipt and handed it to him while he had a burger in his mouth, said “text me!” and ran away! We couldn’t stop laughing when they told us this adorable story! It’s one of our favorite parts of meeting with clients, everyone has such cute ways that they met!
After our first meeting, we became very good friends with Crystal and Brett! They have invited us over for dinner at their (gorgeous) house! We loved seeing a few of our little gifts from their welcome package scattered around their house in different spots. Crystal has also become friends with some of our other brides through our Shelby Ann Brides Facebook group! She invited Shelby and a few brides that she has connected with over for a sign making night at her house! We ate dinner and put together beautiful signs for their wedding days! It was so sweet!
Crystal and Brett’s engagement session has been a day we had been looking forward to for so long! We couldn’t wait to spend some time with these two love birds! We are so looking forward to our next double date and of course, their big day this September!
Crystal and Brett, we love you guys so much! Thank you for letting us capture this sweet time of your lives, and for becoming such great friends of ours! We can’t wait for your big day!
