Oh how much we love Christina & Matt! When we met them at their engagement session last year, we laughed the entire time! They were easy going and so in love! We could not wait to celebrate their marriage with them!
Unfortunately, the day of their wedding, I woke up I was in a lot of pain due to my endometriosis. I decided to play it safe and hire another photographer to join Zac and I to capture their day incase I needed to sit down and take a break. I called Christina to let her know the plan in place and she was beyond happy with my accomodations for the situation. In my head, I was adamant that I would not miss their wedding, no matter what! After getting ready photos were wrapped up at the hotel and venue, we captured some family and bridal party. I was going down hill quickly and Christina was so thoughtful to say that’s enough, Zac and your colleague have it covered, “go to the hospital.” (It is a good thing I did, the doctors found a mass and I needed surgery!) I was so sad to leave and of course so so nervous to leave my sweet couple in the hands of someone else. Zac had never been on his own running our business, but I trusted his skills and our colleague’s enough to capture their day! Let’s just say they did an AMAZING job! I am so beyond thankful for them!
As for Christina and Matt, thank you so much for caring about my health and being so understanding of the situation! I can’t thank you enough for continuously checking in on me throughout the last few weeks and for the love you have shown us! I am so happy for you two and hearing all about your honeymoon plans has had me smiling during my time of healing on bedrest!
I wish I could tell you guys all about their day like I normally do, unfortunately I didn’t get to experience it with them. What I can tell you is these two love birds are off to Positano Italy and Portugal for their honeymoon! Are you jealous? I sure am!
